Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Kentucky, believes Republicans have a half-hearted chance overthrow the Senate in November, Citing ‘filter quality’ as a factor.

The senator made the honest prediction at the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce luncheon on Thursday afternoon.

“I think the House of Representatives is more likely to overturn than the Senate,” predicted the minority leader. “The Senate races are just different, it’s statewide. The quality of the candidate has a lot to do with the outcome.”

“Now we have 50-50 Senate And a 50-50 state, but I think when it’s all said and done this fall, we’ll probably have a very close Senate. Either our side is up a little or their side is a little bit higher,” McConnell explained.
